LexNigeriana provides cloud-based legal practice management software, including but not limited to:
- Case and matter management
- Time tracking and billing
- Document management and automation
- Client communication tools
- Contract lifecycle management
- Entity and compliance management
3. Account Registration
To use our services, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update any changes to your information
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Subscription and Payment
Billing
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are in Nigerian Naira unless otherwise specified.
Free Trial
We offer a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you must select a paid plan to continue using the service.
Refunds
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Annual subscriptions may be refunded within 30 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malicious code or attempt to breach security
- Interfere with the proper operation of the service
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users

6. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership of any content you create, upload, or store using our services.
You grant us a limited license to use your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

All intellectual property rights in the LexNigeriana platform, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation, remain our exclusive property.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LexNigeriana shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LexNigeriana from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. We may terminate immediately if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, you may export your data for up to 30 days. After this period, we may delete your data.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
